- Up to $85.00ph + super during the initial 26-week contract through Marble

- Genuine pathway into a permanent role with the contractor after 26 weeks

- 2:2 roster consisting of seven days, seven nights and 14 days off

- Long-term project with OEM training and future leadership or technical progression available

The Role

n

Working within a small underground maintenance team, you'll carry out electrical maintenance, repairs and breakdown support across a varied fleet of underground mining equipment. Your duties will include:

n

n
- Completing scheduled electrical servicing, inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs
n
- Diagnosing electrical faults and attending underground breakdowns across mobile mining equipment
n
- Carrying out auto electrical maintenance across both the underground workshop and field
n
- Supporting equipment reliability while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality workmanship
n

The Equipment

n

You'll work across a wide-ranging underground fleet, including:

n

n
- Sandvik drills, boggers and underground trucks
n
- Volvo integrated tool carriers
n
- Supporting underground light vehicles and ancillary equipment as required
n

n

Your Skills and Experience

n





You'll be an experienced Auto Electrician who is confident working independently across underground mobile plant and enjoys being part of a close-knit maintenance team. You'll also have:

n

n
- Australian-recognised Auto Electrical trade qualification
n
- Underground hardrock mining experience, although candidates with strong mobile plant electrical experience will also be considered
n
- Strong electrical diagnostic and fault-finding skills, with the ability to work autonomously underground
n
- A current driver's licence and a safety-focused, reliable approach to work
n
- Experience maintaining Sandvik underground equipment, particularly drills, will be highly regarded.
n

The Roster and Camp

n

Enjoy an even-time roster with comfortable accommodation and everything provided while you're away for work.

- 2:2 roster consisting of seven days, seven nights and 14 days off
n
- 12-hour shifts, running approximately 5:30am to 5:30pm
n
- Private hotel-style room with an ensuite and access to local gym facilities
n
- Buffet-style breakfast and dinner provided, along with crib for each shift
n
- Daily shuttle bus to and from site, with travel taking approximately 25 minutes
n
