Leaps and Bounds Parklands by Canopy, a part of API Leisure and Lifestyle (Qld), is a well-established early learning centre recently joining the Canopy group, conveniently located close to Wilsonton shopping centre. With over 30 years of experience as a trusted childcare provider, Canopy Early Education is excited to welcome a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team.

About the Role:

n

Are you passionate about early childhood education and looking for a versatile, supportive environment where you can grow? Leaps and Bounds Parklands by Canopy is currently seeking an experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our team in a permanent part-time role to support our increasing enrolments. Set teaching shifts will extend over five days each week and include five hours of programming weekly.

About the Role:

n

To be successful in your application, you must have:

n

Graduate Diploma or Bachelor of Early Education

n

Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)

n

I'm Alert Food Safety qualifications

n

National Child Safety Training

n

Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma, and CPR qualifications

n

Experience implementing Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG) and other learning frameworks

n

Ability to create a rich, stimulating, and engaging workplace for all children

n

A professional attitude, robust communication skills, and a commitment to high-quality care

n

A passion for supporting children's holistic development through empathy, motivation, and inspiration

n

Ability to work collaboratively with the Leaps and Bounds Parklands by Canopy team, Centre Manager, Area Manager and Canopy Executives

n

Strong organisational skills to maintain a welcoming and engaging learning space

n
