As our business continues to grow, we are expanding our production team and are looking for a skilled and experienced CNC & Edge-Bander Operator to join R&R; Cabinets.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

n

As a CNC & Edge-Bander Operator, you will play an important role within our production team, operating CNC machinery, including our Anderson CNC, as well as edge-banding equipment to manufacture and finish high-quality cabinet components.

n

You will be responsible for ensuring machinery is operated safely and efficiently, production targets are met, and finished products consistently meet our high standards of quality.

n

Acurrent Forklift Licenceis also required, as you will assist with the movement and handling of materials throughout the production and warehouse areas.

n

TASKS & RESPONSIBILTIES:

n

- Set up and operate CNC machinery and edge-banders in accordance with job specifications.
n
- Interpret technical drawings and production plans.
n
- Program and adjust CNC machinery as required.
n
- Monitor machinery throughout production to ensure safe and efficient operation.
n
- Conduct quality checks and ensure finished components meet specifications.
n




- Operate a forklift to safely move and handle materials.
n
- Assist with warehouse and general production duties as required.
n
- Identify and troubleshoot machinery or production issues.
n
- Perform routine machine maintenance and report faults promptly.
n
- Maintain a clean, organised and secure work environment.
n
- Follow all company safety procedures, policies and production requirements.
n
- Work collaboratively with the wider production team to achieve daily targets.
n

TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

n

n
- Previous experience operating CNC machinery and/or edge-banders, preferably within the cabinet making or joinery industry.
n
- Experience with Anderson CNC machinery will be highly regarded.
n
- A current Forklift Licence.
n
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and job specifications.
n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
n
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
n
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
n
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
n
- A reliable, punctual and positive attitude.
n
- Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing production priorities.
n
- Ability to safely lift and handle materials of up to 15kg.
