Job Description

This is a newly created key role with genuine ownership of the marketing function. You will take ownership of the marketing function and help drive the next stage of growth. This is not a consumer or social-media marketing role. The role requires someone who understands B2B, industrial products, wholesale distribution and channel marketing.

Key responsibilities

- Develop and execute B2B marketing strategy
n
- Develop campaigns that help distributors sell more products and drive growth
n
- Generate qualified leads through digital, email, LinkedIn, SEO and other channels
n
- Develop product marketing, catalogues, brochures, promotions and sales material in conjunction with sales executives
n
- Support trade shows, industry events and distributor campaigns
n
- Improve websites and online product experience
n
- Develop distributor and point-of-sale merchandising programs
n
- Identify current distributors, customers and market opportunities
n
- Support expansion into international markets, including identifying overseas distributors and developing market-entry campaigns
n




- Measure marketing performance and ensure activity delivers commercial results
n

About you

n

n
- At least 5 years' B2B marketing experience
n
- Experience in a related sector such as industrial products, manufacturing, plumbing, gas, hydraulics, pneumatics, engineering, automotive, transport, building products, electrical, hardware or wholesale distribution
n
- Experience marketing physical products through distributors, wholesalers, dealers or resellers
n
- Commercially minded with understanding of the sales process
n
- Able to work well with the sales team
n
- Hands on, able to develop strategy and get involved in campaigns, content, digital marketing, customer relations and market analysis
n
- International marketing or market-entry experience highly regarded
n
