Blu Box Recruitment is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our private company. This position is suited to a technically capable Civil Engineer with strong skills in AutoCAD Civil, civil drafting and 3D rendering.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing civil designs, technical drawings, plans and 3D visualisations while supporting the planning and delivery of civil and construction projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing civil designs, technical drawings, plans and 3D visualisations while supporting the planning and delivery of civil and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings and designs using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D
n
- Develop accurate 3D models and rendered presentations for proposed projects
n
- Prepare site plans, layouts, sections, profiles and construction drawings
n
- Assist with the design and documentation of civil works, including earthworks, roads, drainage, utilities and site development
n
- Review architectural, structural, survey and engineering drawings and specifications
n
- Interpret survey information, levels, contours and other technical project data
n
- Prepare and revise drawings in accordance with project requirements and design changes
n
- Perform engineering calculations and assist with quantity take-offs where required
n
- Coordinate civil designs with architectural, structural and other engineering disciplines
n
- Identify design conflicts,



discrepancies and potential construction issues before project implementation
n
- Assist with the preparation of technical documentation, reports and project submissions
n
- Ensure drawings and designs comply with relevant project requirements, engineering standards and specifications
n
- Maintain accurate project drawings, revisions and engineering documentation
n
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, architects, contractors and other project stakeholders
n
- Complete assigned designs and documentation accurately and within required project timeframes
n

About You

n

n
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline
n
- Relevant experience in civil engineering, civil design or drafting
n
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
n
- Solid proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
n
- Demonstrated experience producing professional 3D models and renderings
n
- Ability to prepare and interpret civil engineering drawings, plans, sections and technical documentation
n
- Good understanding of civil construction methods, terminology and engineering principles
n
- Experience with site development, earthworks, roads and/or drainage design will be highly regarded
n
- Ability to interpret survey plans, contours, elevations and engineering information
n
- Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills
n
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate technical work
n
- Ability to manage multiple drawings, revisions and project deadlines
n
- Good written and verbal communication skills
n
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a project team
n
