Sync Lift Engineering is seeking experienced Mechanical Fittersto join our growing team in Gladstone.

We have a strong pipeline of local work across both site-based projects and workshop activities, providing opportunities for skilled Mechanical Fitters looking for ongoing work while remaining local to the Gladstone region.

The Opportunity

n

We are looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters to support a variety of maintenance, project and workshop activities across the Gladstone region.

n

Depending on your experience and the project requirements, work may include:

n

n
- Fixed plant maintenance and repairs
n
- Mechanical installation and commissioning activities
n
- Preventative and corrective maintenance
n
- Pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, bearings and rotating equipment
n
- Equipment strip-downs, inspections, repairs and rebuilds
n
- Component change-outs and overhauls
n




- Fault finding and mechanical troubleshooting
n
- Alignment and precision fitting
n
- Site shutdown and project works
n
- Workshop-based mechanical repairs and maintenance
n
- Working within strict safety and quality requirements
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Australian-recognised Mechanical Fitter trade qualification
n
- Demonstrated experience working as a Mechanical Fitter within heavy industry
n
- Strong mechanical maintenance and fault-finding skills
n
- Experience with fixed plant, rotating equipment and industrial machinery
n
- Working at Heights, Confined Space & Gas Test Atmospheres
n
- Current Driver's Licence
n
- High Risk Work Licences such as Forklift, EWP, Dogging and Rigging will be highly regarded
n
- Ability to pass site-specific medical and drug & alcohol requirements where required
n
- Strong commitment to safety, quality and workmanship
n
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
n
