If you're an OT who actually enjoys neuro, complex clients and doing work that makes a difference, this one is worth a look.
n
You'll be joining a growing team of around 10 clinicians who genuinely enjoy working together and are big on helping each other out — without the feeling that you're just another number on a spreadsheet.
n
The role is predominantly community-based, working with adults across Brisbane and the Gold Coast with presentations including:
n
n
- Stroke
n
- Multiple Sclerosis
n
- Motor Neurone Disease
n
- Acquired Brain Injuries
n
- Complex neurological and physical disabilities
n
n
So, what's actually good about it?
n
n
- You get a work vehicle No putting hundreds of kilometres on your own car just to get between clients.
n
- Flexibility actually means flexibility Community-based work with WFH options, so you're not chained to a clinic all week.
n
- You'll actually get better at Neuro You'll have experienced clinicians around you, structured supervision, mentoring and ongoing training.
You're not expected to figure everything out yourself.
n
- There's somewhere to go As the team continues to grow, there are genuine opportunities to step into senior, supervisory and leadership positions.
n
- No ridiculous KPI obsession The focus is on doing positive clinical work and getting good outcomes for your clients — not obsessing over whether you've hit some arbitrary number of billable hours.
n
n
Who are they looking for?
n
This isn't about having the perfect CV.
n
If you're already a confident Neuro OT, great.
n
If you're an OT who has some Neuro experience and wants to properly build your expertise, also great.
n
What matters more is that you're curious, switched-on, willing to learn and genuinely care about doing good work.
n
You'll be surrounded by OTs and Speech Pathologists who actually want to see you succeed, with plenty of support as you develop your clinical skills.
n
Sound like your kind of thing?
n
If you're an OT who wants to get seriously good at Neuro without sacrificing flexibility, support or having a life outside work, I'd be keen to have a chat.
