The Assistant Commissioning Engineer performs commissioning for switchboards as per client requirements and according to the instructions of the Senior Commissioning Engineer.

Must have experience &/or Electrical background
n
Electrical Engineering tertiary qualifications, Trade Certificate or equal.
n
Understanding of relevant Australian Standards and Energy Authority rules.
n
Computer literacy in Microsoft Office products and proprietary CAD systems.
n
Experience in testing electrical systems.
n
Effectively communicate in English, verbal and written.
n
Ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities as listed below.

Ability to learn if missing any reasonably obtainable required skills, experience and competencies.

- Check and complete L1 factory test documents.
n
- Prepare RIF, L2, L3 commissioning documents for PDC.
n
- Work closely with site supervisor and site team to complete site commissioning.
n
- Assist site team to join switchboard shipping sections where necessary.
n
- Attending site inductions prior to working on site.
n
- Ensure all work is carried out as instructed by their supervisor.
n
- Understand and comply to the Company policies and procedures that are applicable to their role.
n
- Maintain a clean and protected workspace and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
