We are looking for a mechanical / mechatronics / electrical / electronic engineer to join our friendly team to expand our business and to help us cope with an increasing workload.

About The Role

n

As a key member of our safety testing team, we are looking for a mechanical engineer / mechatronics engineer / electrical engineer to build on our market-leading engineering capability. Working with the technical manager, the role is to:

n

Research, design and develop mechatronic testing equipment and aid

n

Conduct computer CAD modelling to aid testing of mechatronic products

n

Analyse mechatronics products test results and provide solutions on non-compliant issues to improve product safety

n

Perform product safety tests in accordance with local or international standards

n

Design and develop laboratory equipment to meet project requirements

n

Establish standards and policies for quality control and maintenance of equipment

n

Create and improve test plans,



test procedures, and test methods

n

Provide schedules and timely responses to customers

n

Review technical product documents to ensure they are suitable for product certification and applications

n

Have the capability to set up a new department and develop business

n

Monitor quality and performance measures such as turnaround time

n

Skills And Experience Required

n

Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering or a related field

n

Hands-on experience in testing,CAD Modelling and Microsoft office

n

High attention to detail and the ability to document technical work clearly while managing multiple projects

n

Familiarity with safety test equipment and methods, and general laboratory test equipment

n

Be technically minded and have previous experience with reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting technical documents and test reports

n

Problem-solving mindset

n

Valid AustralianDrivers License

n
