What we are looking for:

n

We are looking for a hands-on professional who combines strong technical capability with attention to detail, sound judgement and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
n You will ideally have:

n

n
- Gunsmith / Armourer certification or a relevant equivalent trade qualification, such as Fitter & Turner.
n
- Demonstrated experience in gunsmithing, firearm servicing and workshop activities, including the secure use of relevant machinery and equipment.
n
- Sound knowledge of applicable firearms legislation, trade requirements and Victorian regulations, together with a current and relevant firearms licence.
n
- Previous experience within the firearms, shooting or associated industries.
n
- Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills,



with good computer literacy including Microsoft Office and business applications.
n
- A current driver's licence and a strong commitment to WHS, safety and compliance.
n

Key responsibilities:

n

n
- Perform warranty repairs, paid repairs, servicing, testing and other gunsmithing activities to a consistently high standard.
n
- Provide technical advice and support to Sales and Customer Service, helping deliver timely and practical customer outcomes.
n
- Maintain the gunsmith workshop and range to ensure a safe, clean, functional and professional environment.
n
- Provide range testing capability and technical support to Military and Law Enforcement customers.
n
- Develop strong working relationships with internal teams, brand partners and industry contacts.
n
- Manage relevant gunsmithing, ballistics and destruction-goods inventory, ensuring accurate stock control and processing.
n
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all work is captured within company systems.
n
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant legislation, company policies, quality standards and WHS requirements, while contributing to projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
n
