Expression of Interest: Retail Manager – Strathpine

Fitness Cartel Health Clubs is bringing a brand-new club to Strathpine, and we're seeking expressions of interest from experienced Retail Managers who want to help launch and grow an exciting new facility.

n

We're more than a gym. With plans to expand to 60+ clubs by 2030, our state-of-the-art facilities include Cycle Studios, Reformer Pilates, cafés, crèches, saunas and premium training spaces.

n

The Role

n

Retail Managers are a key part of the "engine room" of our clubs. As the face of the Pro-Shop and Barbell Café, you'll lead the retail team, maximise sales opportunities and help deliver exceptional customer experiences.

n

You'll work closely with the Customer Service Manager and Club General Manager to establish strong retail operations at our new Strathpine location.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Supervise, train and support Retail Assistants.
n
- Prepare staff rosters and ensure adequate coverage during peak periods.
n
- Track retail sales, order stock and support inventory control.
n
- Manage supplements, food, beverages and apparel, staying informed on new products.
n
- Lead the team to achieve sales targets and key performance indicators.
n
- Create daily Facebook and Instagram content to promote retail offerings.
n
- Maintain high customer service standards and maximise sales opportunities.
n
- Complete administrative tasks and other duties as required.
n

What You'll Bring

n

n




- 3+ years' retail sales supervisory experience, ideally in fitness, nutrition or supplements.
n
- Experience working in a KPI-driven environment and achieving sales targets.
n
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport and influence customers.
n
- A customer-focused, solutions-oriented approach.
n
- Proven ability to coach, motivate and lead a team.
n
- Passion for health, fitness and the Fitness Cartel brand.
n
- A proactive, reliable and professional approach with strong attention to detail.
n
- Computer literacy and the ability to learn new systems.
n
- Flexibility, initiative and the ability to multitask.
n
- Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain.
n
