Are you an experienced Sales Support or Customer Service professional who thrives on keeping customers, orders and sales teams moving?

We're looking for an Internal Sales Support person to join a well-established national business within the manufacturing and distribution sector based in Girraween.

n

This is a hands-on role supporting Account Managers and Sales Reps across customer service, order processing, quoting and sales administration. It's a casual opportunity with a genuine pathway to a permanent $65,000 + super position for the right person.

About the role

n

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you'll be an important part of the internal sales and customer service function.

n

You'll help keep everything moving behind the scenes - processing orders and quotes, responding to customers, coordinating with internal departments and making sure Account Managers and Sales Reps have the support they need.

n

It's a varied role suited to someone who is organised, responsive and enjoys solving problems rather than simply passing them on.

n

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Processing customer sales orders accurately and efficiently
n
- Preparing quotes and requotes, including revisions and amendments in SAP
n
- Responding to customer enquiries and providing prompt, qualified support
n
- Processing warranty claims, rectifications and after-sales service requirements
n
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to Account Managers and Sales Reps
n
- Maintaining accurate customer, sales and CRM records
n
- Coordinating sales activities, promotions and product launches
n
- Preparing and maintaining sales documentation and product information
n
- Working closely with production, despatch, marketing, product and finance teams
n
- Following up customer requirements and helping resolve issues quickly
n
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and make the sales support function more efficient
n

What we're looking for

n

You may currently be working in Internal Sales, Sales Support, Sales Administration, Customer Service or Sales Coordination and looking for your next opportunity.

n

Ideally, you'll bring:

n

n
- Previous experience in sales support, sales administration, customer service or a similar role
n
- Strong customer service skills and a professional, confident communication style
n
- Experience processing orders, quotes and customer enquiries
n
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word and Outlook
n
- SAP or ERP system experience is highly regarded but not essential
n
- Excellent attention to detail and data-entry accuracy
n
- Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
n
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to customer issues
n
- The ability to work collaboratively across different departments
n
- A genuine sense of urgency and pride in following things through
n
- A team-first attitude and commitment to delivering great service
n

n

Experience within manufacturing, distribution, building products, industrial products or a similar setting would be advantageous, but we're also interested in strong sales support and customer service candidates from other industries.
