About the Role

Are you an exceptional dental professional who can handle both front desk and clinical duties? Our boutique dental practice in Ivanhoe is looking for an experienced, proactive Dental All-Rounder to join our team for the long term.

We need someone who loves managing the day-to-day essentials but also has the vision to help us grow. If you want to build a career as a Practice Manager and are motivated by performance-based growth, this is your perfect stepping stone.

We want to ensure we are the right fit for each other before expanding the role. Because of this, we are starting at 1 day per week (Fridays). As you settle in and show your capabilities, we intend to increase your days.

What You Will Do

The Daily Essentials

n

- Front Desk: Answer phones, check in patients, handle emails, and process payments.
n
- Clinical Support: Provide high-quality chairside assistance and manage infection control/sterilisation.
n
- Patient Care: Welcome patients warmly and build strong, lasting relationships.

The Bigger Picture

- Fill the Books: Use your initiative to manage the appointment book and maximize chair time.
n
- Optimize Technology:



Maximize the efficiency and features of our current Practice Management Software.
n
- Grow the Hygiene Department: Assist in building, structuring, and maintaining a thriving hygiene department.
n
- Build Systems: Create, organize, and improve clinic processes to make daily workflows smoother.
n

What We Are Looking For

n

n
- Dental Experience: Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting combined with solid experience working within an Australian dental clinic.
n
- Happy to Help Anywhere: Equally comfortable answering phones, chatting to patients, or assisting in surgery.
n
- Process-Driven: Ability to design business workflows and get the absolute most out of a dental PMS.
n
- Hygiene Focus: Understanding of how to drive, book, and promote a successful hygiene department.
n
- Initiative & Ambition: A proactive mindset—you want to step up into practice management.
n
- Long-Term Vision: Looking for a stable, permanent role where you can grow with the practice.
