Full Time Nanny - Clontarf, Sydney

Start Date: October / November 2026 (Prior to December newborn arrival)

Children: Girl (10 years old) & Newborn arriving in early December

Driving: Essential (Having own car preferred)

Dream Nannies is seeking a compassionate, patient, and experienced Full-Time Nanny for a loving family based in Clontarf Sydney. The position initially focuses on supporting their 10-year-old daughter with morning and afternoon school routines, homework, and activity management. The child is bubbly, creative, and loves art, cooking, and swimming. She manages mild cerebral palsy (affecting her right side) and was recently diagnosed with epilepsy. The ideal candidate will be supportive, nurturing, and confident in assisting children with mild physical disabilities and medical management. With a newborn baby girl arriving in early December, the role will naturally transition to a shared focus between caring for the baby, supporting the eldest daughter, and helping with light household management. The home also includes two very friendly dogs (a Doberman and a Labrador).

The Role & Schedule

- Starting with part time hours ( before baby born, the role will be based on full time hours from December structured around school drop-off (mornings) and pick-up times (afternoons), expanding into full daytime care and household management.
- Exact hours are flexible.
- Potential for extra/varied hours during school holidays, with potential opportunities to travel with the family.

Childcare & Household Duties





- Assisting the 10-year-old girl with morning preparation, packing lunches, homework, and driving her to and from school/activities.
- Providing warm, attentive newborn care once the baby arrives in December.
- Supporting household organization, including children's laundry, occasional family laundry, and light tidying.
- Preparing occasional meals and snacks for the children.
- Assisting with errands or taking the child to appointments as needed.

The Family Home

- Located in Clontarf, near beaches, parks, and cafes, with public bus stops right at the end of the street.
- A warm, creative home environment with pool access and two affectionate dogs.

Requirements

- Proven experience working with children, with competence or strong confidence in caring for children with physical disabilities/medical conditions.
- Experience with infant and newborn care.
- Valid Driver's Licence (having your own vehicle is preferred).
- Nurturing, patient, and encouraging personality.
- Dog lover (comfortable around large, friendly dogs).
