Azooa is seeking an experienced Lead Operations Coordinator to lead day-to-day gateway operations, coordinate operational activities and help maintain the availability and security of critical services.

This role suits an operations leader who combines strong service management and investigative skills with confident executive communication. You will coordinate across technical teams, senior leadership and stakeholders to manage escalations, prioritise activities and align resources with operational needs.

What you'll do
n
n
- Coordinate gateway activities and oversee day-to-day operations.
n
- Support the availability of critical services and components across the environment.
n
- Provide advice on planning, designing and improving service and component availability.
n
- Investigate service outages and breaches of availability targets, recommending and initiating remedial action.
n
- Help lead investigations into security breaches within the gateway.
n
- Ensure gateway security requirements and supporting documentation are maintained.
n
- Act as a central coordination point for senior leadership.
n
- Manage and prioritise schedules, communications and resources across leadership teams.
n
- Ensure managers have the information and resources needed to support ongoing operations and process changes.
n
- Engage stakeholders,
build alignment and gain agreement on recommendations.
n

You will need to demonstrate:
n
n
- Executive communication: Experience preparing explicit reports, briefs and other communications for senior leaders.
n
- Stakeholder engagement: Strong relationship management skills and the ability to negotiate with influence.
n
- Operational prioritisation: The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver team objectives.
n
- Investigation and analysis: The ability to assess service non-availability, determine its criticality and recommend appropriate remedial action.
n
n
Strong applications will include specific examples of your personal contribution and the outcomes achieved.
n
Security and suitability
n
Candidates must hold a current TSPV security clearance. The engagement also specifies the ability to obtain Positive Vetting (PV).
n
Successful candidates will need to complete an organisational suitability assessment before commencement. Final work-area allocation will depend on operational requirements.
n
Working arrangements
n
The role is available in ACT or South Australia and is classified as onsite.
n
Working arrangements will be determined by the assigned work area and operational needs. Some work areas may not accommodate working from home.
n
The initial engagement is 12 months, with two potential 12-month extensions, working up to 40 hours per week.
n
Where no immediate business requirement is identified, suitable candidates may be considered for a merit pool.
