Job Description

This[Full Time/Casual]role would suit a customer focused and self-driven operator with a passion for delivering no matter the obstacle. The Job:

n

n
- Flexible with working varied hours, including weekends and overtime with penalty rates [Start time and finish time]
n
- Work to deliver high levels of service to our customers through effectively transporting general freight supporting the [Which Branch] community
n
- Take responsibility for safely and securely loading and unloading a variety of freight with some manual handling of parcel freight
n
- Completing daily vehicle inspections and necessary paperwork including pre-start checks as well as filling out run sheets, PODs and logbooks
n
- Operate a forklift or pallet jack to load and unload general freight [Regional only] [Optional]
n

Hold a current MR license [and Forklift Ticket (LF)] with proven experience operating a Heavy Vehicle for a minimum of 2 years

n

- A solid level of resilience and ability to problem solve coupled with the capability to work within a fast-paced, high pressure environment
n
- Have a passion for going the extra mile to provide high level service to all our customers

- Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base
n
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen, as well as a criminal history check if required
n
