Telehandler Operator + MR Driver –Cairns Project

Elite Resource Australia is recruiting an experienced Telehandler Operator with an MR driver's license for a major infrastructure project in Cairns.
n This role runs from September through to late November, with potential to continue.

n

About the Role

n

This position supports daily site operations and logistics.

n

Key tasks include:

n

n
- Operating the telehandler to move materials and assist site crews
n
- Loading and unloading trucks
n
- Driving jobs between site and yard
n
- Refuelling equipment
n
- Delivering materials using a 7‐tonne flatbed truck
n
- Assisting site teams with general duties when required
n

n

Shifts are minimum 10 hours, 5–6 days per week, offering robust earning potential.

n

Pay Rates

n

n
- $45/hr – Normal Time
n
- $60/hr – OT1
n




- $75/hr – OT2
n

n

Requirements

n

n
- Valid Telehandler ticket
n
- Proven telehandler operating experience
n
- MR driver's licence (mandatory)
n
- White Card
n
- Strong understanding of safe lifting and material‐handling practices
n
- Reliable, fit for duty, and able to work long shifts
n
- Able to start ASAP
n
- Must complete drug & alcohol screen and face‐fit test prior to starting (organised by Elite Resource)
n
- Local Cairns candidates preferred
n
