About the Role: DR Render is seeking an experienced and reliable Solid Plasterer to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will work across residential and commercial projects, carrying out high-quality rendering and solid plastering work in accordance with project specifications and Australian workplace standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

n

n
- Prepare internal and external surfaces for plastering and rendering.
n
- Apply solid plaster, cement render and other protective and decorative coatings.
n
- Mix and prepare plaster, render, cement and other materials to the required consistency.
n
- Apply base coats, finishing coats and textured finishes using hand tools and appropriate equipment.
n
- Level, smooth and finish rendered surfaces to achieve the required finish.
n
- Install and finish corners, straight edges and architectural details where required.
n
- Repair cracked,



damaged or deteriorated plaster and rendered surfaces.
n
- Read and interpret plans, specifications and job requirements.
n
- Measure work areas and calculate quantities of materials required.Operate and maintain plastering tools and equipment safely.
n
- Ensure completed work meets required quality standards.
n
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and comply with WHS requirements.
n
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects within required timeframes.

Skills and Experience

n

n
- Previous experience as a Solid Plasterer / Renderer.
n
- Strong knowledge of rendering, plastering and surface preparation techniques.
n
- Experience producing smooth, textured and other specified finishes.
n
- Valuable attention to detail and workmanship.
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
n
- Reliable, punctual and physically capable of performing the duties of the position.
