A well-established Hemmant manufacturer is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a supportive team. This is a hands-on, full-time role with genuine temp-to-perm potential.

You'll handle mechanical fitting, assembly and installation of manufactured equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

The Role

- Mechanical fitting, assembly and installation

- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems

- Fault finding, repairs and adjustments
n
- Reading technical drawings and specifications
n
- Using hand and power tools
n
- Quality checks and workmanship standards
n
- Meeting production deadlines as part of a team
n
- Following WHS procedures
n

About You

n

n
- Mechanical Fitter trade qualification or equivalent experience
n




- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
n
- Ability to read technical drawings
n
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
n
- Robust safety and quality focus
n
- Reliable, professional and team-oriented
n

n

Experience in transport, trailer manufacturing, heavy vehicles or similar will be highly regarded.

Hours

n

n
- Mon - Thu: 6:30am - 4:30pm
n
- Fri: 6:30am - 1:30pm
n
- Overtime as needed
n
