An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Diesel Fitter / HD Fitter / HD Mechanic to join a growing diesel maintenance business based in Brisbane.

n

Working across workshop and field environments, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs of a diverse range of heavy vehicles, earthmoving equipment and mobile plant. You'll work alongside an experienced team of tradespeople and have access to quality equipment, diagnostic technology and ongoing technical support.

- Carry out scheduled servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance on heavy equipment.
n
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
n
- Perform inspections, fault-finding and diagnostics on diesel-powered equipment.
n
- Work across a variety of earthmoving, civil, heavy vehicles and mobile plant.
n
- Carry out breakdown repairs, component replacements and major mechanical repairs.
n
- Assist with project work, equipment overhauls and general workshop duties.
n
- Maintain high standards of safety, workmanship and reliability.
n
- Work as part of a supportive and experienced team.

Candidate

n

We're looking for a qualified and experienced Diesel Fitter / HD Mechanic who takes pride in their work and enjoys working across earthmoving, civil and heavy equipment.

n

You will ideally have:

n

n
- Relevant Diesel Fitter / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic trade qualification.
n
- Previous experience working on earthmoving, civil, heavy vehicles or mobile plant.
n
- Strong mechanical, diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
n
- Experience with breakdowns, servicing and major repairs.
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
- A commitment to quality, safety and qualified workmanship.
n
- A positive, reliable and professional approach.
