My client is a well known player in the Queensland market, producing homes for all levels of home buyers for the SEQ market. They are client very focused,creating their clients dream homes, building inner-city & Greenfilelds, both KDR & new builds as well as medium density developments.

We are seeking a high performing Construction Manager to join their established team of professionals, managing Supervisors in the Brisbane area You will have proven results managing a team of minimum 4+ Site Supervisors for a volume builder, and leading a team that delivers projects in time, on budget and at the highest quality.
n You will manage a team of Supervisors in the Greenfields & KDR space, develop, refine and streamline building acumen together with applying strategic building methodology, mentoring and managerial influence to meet / exceed company targets moving forward.

Role Responsibilities (not limited to)

n

- Manage & be accountable for Supervisors, job numbers & progress of builds
n
- Regular site visits ensuring safety and quality assurance
n
- Support Supervisors and managing any issues
n
- Working closely with clients, suppliers and subcontractors
n
- Step in an Manage builds where needed (cover annual leave etc)
n
- Accurate reporting to Building Manager of build time, OH&S;, cost reports etc
n

Your experience

n

n
- Minimum 2+ years' experience as a Construction Manager or Area Manager with Project Home Builder
n
- Robust ability to problem solve and conflict resolution skills
n
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
n
- Strong connections with Sub-Contractors in the Brisbane metro area
n
- Strong understanding of OH&S; requirements
