We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Motel Manager to join our growing accommodation business in regional NSW.

About the Role

n

This is a hands‐on management position suited to someone who is confident in independently operating a motel on a day‐to‐day basis. The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of motel operations, guest service, staff coordination, and property presentation.

n

You will be supported by ownership, but must be capable of managing the business independently and professionally.

n

- Minimum 12 months of independent motel management experience
n
- Non-citizens or non-permanent residents must have a valid Australian work visa with a minimum of 12 months remaining on the visa. Strong understanding of motel operations and guest service
n
- Knowledge of OTA platforms such as Booking.com and Expedia
n
- Full administration capabilities required for OTA platforms including rate management, inventory control, and promotional campaign setup
n
- Positive attitude and strong attention to detail
n
- Experience with motel booking systems / channel managers
n




- Specific experience with RMS or Little Hotelier booking systems and channel management platforms required
n
- Ability to manage housekeeping coordination and daily operations
n
- Excellent communication and problem‐solving skills
n
- Reliable, organised, and able to work autonomously
n

Preferred Qualities

- Basic maintenance or troubleshooting ability

- Experience managing motel restaurant
n
- Driving skill
n
- Multiple languages is preferred

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily motel operations

- Manage reservations, check‐ins, and guest enquiries

- Coordinate housekeeping and room presentation

- Monitor occupancy and rates
n
- Maintain high customer service standards

- Handle basic reporting and operational administrationEnsure the property is clean, safe, and operating efficiently

- Respond to guest issues in a professional manner
