About The Opportunity

n

We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator for our Resource Development project at Rio Tinto's Brockman 4 mine.

n

The role involves operating 36-tonne excavators across steep and challenging terrain to support drill-pad construction, access preparation, drainage and rehabilitation works.

n

Key Requirements

n

n




- Proven excavator experience in steep terrain.
n
- Experience operating CAT 336 or similar excavators.
n
- Competent in drill-pad construction, battering, benching, drainage and final trimming.
n
- Current RIIMPO301E excavator competency.
n
- Strong understanding of safe machine positioning and slope limitations.
n
- GPS/machine-control experience preferred.
n
- Current driver's licence and White Card.
n
- Ability to pass a medical and drug/alcohol screen.
n
- Strong safety focus and ability to work independently in remote areas.
