About the role:
n
You will be working within a busy workshop environment, assisting with general repairs, preparation and maintenance.
n
The role will suit someone who is hands-on, reliable and confident using hand and power tools. You will need to be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team,
with the flexibility to assist across different duties as required.
n
Duties will include
n
n
- Welding and basic repairs
n
- Using grinders, sanders, pressure washers and other power tools
n
- Preparing and painting metal surfaces
n
- Decal removal and replacement
n
- General labouring and manual handling
n
- Cleaning and maintaining the workshop
n
- Assisting tradespeople with repairs and maintenance
n
- Forklift operation when required
n
n
What we're looking for:
n
n
- Previous Trade Assistant, workshop or repair experience
n
- Welding experience is highly regarded
n
- Confident using hand and power tools
n
- LF Forklift Licence is desirable
n
- Reliable and committed to ongoing work
n
n
