Aus Home Services is seeking an experienced Domestic Cleaner to join our friendly team in Melbourne. This is a casual position with flexible schedule, perfect for balancing with study, family, or other commitments.

What you'll be doing

- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in residential properties
n
- Carrying out a range of cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting and sanitising
n
- Ensuring all cleaning materials and equipment are used safely and effectively
n
- Adhering to all health and safety protocols
n
- Providing exceptional customer service to our clients
n

Key Responsibilities

n

Cleaning Duties

n

n
- Bathroom cleaning and sanitising (toilets, showers, tubs, sinks, mirrors)
n
- Kitchen cleaning (benchtops, stovetops, sinks, exterior of appliances, cupboard fronts)
n
- Dusting and wiping down furniture, skirting boards and surfaces
n
- Vacuuming and mopping all floor types (tiles, floorboards, carpet)
n
- Window sills and glass spot-cleaning
n
- Emptying bins and replacing liners
n
- Making beds and changing linen
n
- Laundry duties (washing, drying, folding, ironing) where requested
n
- Tidying and organising living spaces, bedrooms and wardrobes
n
- Putting away dishes and general kitchen tidying
n
- Restocking household supplies (paper towel, toilet paper, soap) where applicable
n
- Light organisational tasks as requested by clients (e.g. straightening shelves, arranging items)
n

General Duties

n

- Following individual client checklists and preferences for each property
n
- Communicating professionally with clients regarding scheduling or special requests
n




- Reporting any maintenance issues or concerns noticed in a client's home
n
- Ensuring all equipment and products are used correctly and safely
n
- Leaving each property to a consistently high standard, every visit
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- Previous experience as a Cleaner is a MUST
n
- Minimum of 1+ years of previous cleaning experience is required
n
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently
n
- Strong level of English and a friendly, professional manner
n
- Australian work rights are required for this position
n
- Good physical fitness and the ability to stand, bend and lift for extended periods
n
- Reliable and punctual with a flexible attitude
n
- Good at working individually and as a team
n
- Driven by doing a job well
n
- A minimum commitment of 6 months is required
n
- You MUST have a CAR to travel between jobs
n
- Comfortable with a 7am start
n
