n About the Role
n This role is a full-time 12-month parental leave contract. Candidates must be based in Victoria for this prospect.
n The Settlements Officer is responsible for providing banking and settlement services, ensuring the safe custody of securities holdings, and maintaining appropriate banking arrangements.
n This position is central to the day-to-day operations of the banking and settlements team, as it serves as one of the first points of receipt for transactions from the Front Office.

- Review and forward settlement confirmations to clients. Work across Domestic, APAC and European markets.
n
- Process, authorise and reconcile all transactions.
n
- Create and send payments – AUD and FX.
n
- Process daily cash sweep and cash movements.
n
- Account reconciliation.
n
- Assist in process improvement recommendations and implementation.
n

Technical Skills & Qualifications
n
n
- 3+ years' experience in a similar position.
n
- Understanding of Treasury and Financial Markets.
n
- Understanding of financial instruments including derivatives.
n
- Attention to detail.
n
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities.
n
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
