Jacobi builds an open-architecture SaaS platform for institutional multi-asset investment management—portfolio construction, risk analytics, custom workflows, and client-ready reporting on a shared data foundation. You'll join engineers across Brisbane, London, and San Francisco shipping production software used by investment teams worldwide.

In the role, you will:

- Contribute to Jacobi's core platform by building and maintaining production features used by institutional investment teams.

Must have:

n

n
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field (e.g. Computer Science, Software Engineering)
n
- 0-3 years experience in software development
n
- Proficiency in Java and Python with robust software development best practices
n
- Experience interacting with REST APIs
n
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with a keen eye for detail
n
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
n
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced start-up environment
n
- Curious with a passion for learning

Nice to have:

- Databricks and Apache Spark experience

- Prior experience in client-facing roles and client engagement

- Knowledge and use of Git
