Early Childhood Educator (Diploma) – Preschool

Spunky Monkeys Early Learning Centre – Bangor is seeking a caring and dedicated Diploma-qualified Educator (or someone actively working towards their Diploma) to join our Preschool team.

n

Working alongside our Lead Educator, you'll help deliver meaningful learning experiences while supporting children as they develop confidence, independence, and the skills they need for a successful transition to school.

n

About the Role

n

Position: Early Childhood Educator (Diploma) – Preschool (3–5 years)

n

Type: Full time, Permanent

n

Start Date: ASAP

n

Working alongside the Lead Educator, you'll support the implementation of a high-quality, play-based preschool program while helping create a safe, engaging, and inclusive setting where every child can thrive.

n

n
- Support the implementation of a high-quality, play-based preschool program
n
- Support children's learning, wellbeing, and daily routines throughout the day
n
- Assist in creating engaging indoor and outdoor learning environments
n
- Contribute to observations, documentation, and children's learning records
n
- Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
n
- Work collaboratively with the Lead Educator to maintain a welcoming, organised, and inclusive learning environment
n
- Contribute to maintaining compliance with the National Quality Framework,



Education and Care Services National Regulations, and centre policies
n

About You

n

We're looking for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.

n

You'll have:

n

n
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or be actively working towards)
n
- Previous experience in a preschool or long day care setting (highly regarded)
n
- Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Framework (NQF), and child development
n
- Solid communication and relationship-building skills
n
- A positive, proactive, and reliable approach to your work
n
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
n
