MID - LATE 1st - 4th Year Boilermaker & Sheet-Metal apprentices

n

We currently require MID - LATE 1st - 4th Year Boilermaker & Sheet-Metal Apprentices to join some of our valued Host companies located in the Southern and Northern suburbs of Brisbane.

n

Those who have commenced their apprenticeships and have had exposure/experience doing structural steel fabrication, site work, truck repairs, body fitment and fabrication for hydraulic/truck services and can handle a wide range of welding and fabrication projects across any industry with many different materials are wanted. Experience in TIG welding is also sort after.

n

Work alongside experienced tradespeople, learn to use welding tools, read plans, and build real-world metal structures. You'll gain practical skills, earn a wage, and finish with a Certificate III in Engineering, Fabrication Trade. - opportunities to get fast tracked for those with relevant experience.

Applicants must meet the following criteria.

- Possess a licence with reliable transport
n




- Be punctual and have a positive attendance record
n
- Be motivated and have a positive attitude
n
- Willing to learn to fabricate to a high standard and within tolerances
n
- Be open to gaining experience in all facets of the trade
n
- Follow instructions well
n
- Have a skill set relative to the time in trade
n
- Able to read basic drawings
n
- Able to work safely
n
- White card (Beneficial and required for host companies that do site work)
n
- Forklift licence and any other tickets relevant to the trade are also beneficial but not essential.
n
- Be an Australian citizen or have permanent residency status
n

Upon successful completion, apprentices will receive a nationally recognized trade qualification— Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade
