Position Details

- Location:n n
- Mount Gambier, some travel to Port MacDonnell & Millicent may be required
n

n
- Shifts currently available:n

n
- 9.00am - 3.00pm weekdays
n
- Possible weekend and after school hours support
n
- Shift duration vary, based on customers' needs and funding
n

n
- Key responsibilities:n

n
- Community access and transport
n
- Social supports
n
- Personal care
n
- Domestic duties
n
- Assisting customers with meal planning, preparation and cooking
n

n

n

Qualifications and Experience

n

n
- Certificate III in Disability or Individual Support, or similar qualification (desirable)
n
- Current First Aid, CPR and Manual Handling certificates
n
- NDIS Worker Check and South Australian Working with Children Check
n
- NDIS Online Modules
n

n

Desirable additional training and/or experience in (further training will be provided)

n

n
- Behaviours of Concern, utilising intervention and de-escalation techniques to support emotional regulation
n
- Medication Administration
n
- Complex Care needs
n




- Previous experience working with children
n
- Previous experience with palliative care
n

n

Other Requirements

n

n
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with insurance, and willing to transport customers for community participation
n
- Evidence of the right to work within Australia
n
- Customers are requesting female support workers
n

n
