Team Global Express is seeking an experienced HC Driver to join our Gracemere – Somerset operation on a permanent full-time basis.

n

This is a Monday to Friday role with a 7:00am start, responsible for completing pickups and deliveries safely and efficiently while ensuring our customers' freight reaches its destination within required timeframes.

n

About the Role

n

n
- Complete pickups and deliveries across Gracemere and surrounding areas.
n
- Work Monday to Friday with a 7:00am start.
n
- Operate HC vehicles safely and professionally.
n
- Complete deliveries and collections within designated timeframes.
n
- Load and unload freight safely and efficiently.
n
- Safely restrain loads using appropriate equipment, including straps and chains.
n
- Ensure freight is correctly secured before commencing your journey.
n
- Conduct daily vehicle pre-start checks and report any defects or concerns.
n
- Check freight and relevant documentation for accuracy.
n
- Communicate effectively with the Operations team regarding delays or delivery issues.
n
- Follow all company procedures and operational requirements.
n




- Comply with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), load restraint and fatigue-management requirements.
n
- Report hazards, near misses and incidents in accordance with company processes.
n
- Maintain a robust commitment to workplace health and safety (WHS) at all times.
n

What You'll Bring

n

n
- Current and valid HC Driver Licence – mandatory.
n
- Previous experience in a similar commercial driving role.
n
- Experience transporting general freight will be highly regarded.
n
- Sound knowledge of load restraint, including the safe use of straps and chains.
n
- Ability to safely load, secure and transport freight.
n
- Strong time-management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines.
n
- High attention to detail, particularly around safety and freight handling.
n
- Ability to complete vehicle pre-start inspections.
n
- Reliable and professional approach to work.
n
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
n
- Proactive approach to WHS and safe work practices.
n
- Full Australian working rights.
