St. Elizabeth Home is a residential aged care facility established by the Hungarian Catholic Community, located in Dean Park on beautifully spacious landscaped grounds. We provide quality accommodation and care services with Christian values for residents, primarily of Hungarian background. Our Home has 102 beds, including a 20-bed secure memory support unit.

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our team in a Casual role which over a time can become Part time.

About the role

n

As a Registered Nurse at St. Elizabeth Home, you will play an important clinical leadership role on the floor, providing safe, responsive and compassionate care to residents while supporting staff and promoting positive outcomes. While our current priority is for night shift coverage, flexibility to work across other shifts will be highly regarded.

Key responsibilities

n

Provide high-quality nursing care to residents

n

Administer medications and monitor residents' health and wellbeing

n

Lead, support and supervise care staff on the floor

n

Respond to clinical changes, incidents and resident needs in a timely manner

n

Complete assessments and contribute to person-centred care planning

n





Maintain accurate clinical documentation, reports and handovers

n

Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support holistic resident care

n

Promote a safe, calm and comfortable environment for residents

n

Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures and aged care regulatory requirements

n

About you

n

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

n

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Registered Nurse, including experience in residential aged care

n

Strong clinical, assessment and decision-making skills

n

Ability to lead confidently and communicate effectively with staff, residents and families

n

A compassionate, respectful and resident-focused approach

n

Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development

n

Flexibility to work across night, AM and PM shifts as required to support the operational needs of the Home

n
