The Role

n

This is a newly created role, and Trill Group is open to candidates at different experience levels, from an experienced Estimator to someone with an electrical or renewable energy background looking to build a career in estimating. The Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate, competitive estimates for commercial solar, BESS and electrical projects, from initial take-offs through to tender submission and project handover.

- Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for commercial solar, BESS and electrical projects.
n
- Review drawings, specifications, tender documentation and scopes of work.
n
- Complete detailed material, equipment and labour take-offs.
n
- Source and negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors.
n
- Prepare project budgets, quotations and tender submissions.
n




- Identify risks, exclusions, assumptions and opportunities during the estimating process.
n
- Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Operations and Project Management to develop practical project solutions.
n
- Assist with project handovers following successful tender submissions.
n
- Maintain accurate costing information and use completed project data to continually improve estimating accuracy.

- Manage multiple opportunities and tender deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
