The Role

As a commercial electrician at DGE, you will work alongside our team of skilled Electrical Supervisors, Project Managers, and Engineers. Based at various project sites located in SEQ, you will gain hands-on experience and training to develop your skills and knowledge within the electrical industry. This is a full-time position offering opportunities for growth and professional development in a supportive environment.

General power and communication installations for commercial projects

n

Small works, repairs, installations, and service maintenance

n

Medical electrical projects

n

Unique upgrades and projects such as building MSB upgrades

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

n




- Assist project managers and supervisors with day-to-day construction tasks on various electrical projects.
n
- Support in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment, following safety regulations and standards.
n
- Participate in the troubleshooting and diagnosis of electrical issues, developing your problem-solving skills.
n
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
n
- Attend weekly training sessions to enhance your technical skills and understanding of electrical systems.
n
- Engage in regular team meetings, providing updates on your progress and contributing to project discussions.

Requirements:

- Queensland Electrical License
n
- CPR LVR certificate
n
- Construction white card
n
- Ability to carry out overtime if required
n
- EWP and high risk licenses
n
