Blenners Transport is seeking aTrade QualifiedHVAC Refrigeration Mechanicto join the workshop team at their Brisbane (Darra) Depot. Working Monday - Friday 6am to 4pm plus rostered Saturdays 6am to 11:15am. This hands‐on role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a fleet of heavy commercial vehicle refrigerated trailers, ensuring safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Service and repair Thermo-King, Carrier, and automatic air conditioning units
n
- Carry out preventative maintenance on refrigeration systems
n
- Ensure compliance with environmental and refrigerant handling regulations
n
- Accurately record parts used and complete job documentation
n
- Diagnose and repair refrigeration systems on heavy commercial vehicles and trailers
n
- Perform inspections and testing to ensure trailer refrigeration units meet operational and safety standards
n
n
Role Requirements
n
n
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
n
- Experience working in Road Transport highly regarded
n
- ARC certified RHL
n
- Knowledge of (Kenworth & Isuzu Trucks, and Cummins Power Plants), (BPW, Meritor and Hendrickson Suspension Systems), Eaton Driveline Components, (ThermoKing & Carrier Fridge Units), and truck air conditioner repairs & servicing.
n
- Robust attention to detail and safety-first mindset
n
- Physical fitness and ability to handle manual tasks
n
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
n
