Join a leading wealth management firm as a Financial Planner, providing high-quality technical and strategic support to experienced Wealth Advisers while contributing directly to the delivery of exceptional client outcomes.

The Opportunity

n

This role is ideal for a technically strong financial planner who enjoys working closely with advisers, researching complex strategies and preparing high-quality financial advice. You will be responsible for developing Statements of Advice, undertaking investment and strategy research, supporting implementation, and providing ongoing technical analysis across a broad range of client needs.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Prepare accurate, clear and technically robust Statements of Advice and supporting documentation.
n
- Research investments across listed and unlisted markets and provide strategic insights to advisers.
n
- Provide technical support across superannuation, taxation, social security, insurance and estate planning.
n
- Stay current with financial planning legislation, regulatory requirements and emerging strategies.
n
- Assist with the implementation of client strategies, including superannuation, insurance and social security matters.
n
- Support Adviser Assistants with implementation and technical queries.
n
- Maintain strong relationships with product providers and BDMs across approved products.
n
- Ensure all advice and correspondence meet internal and regulatory compliance requirements.
n




- Contribute technical knowledge and insights to the broader Wealth Management team.
n
- Complete required professional development and regulatory training.
n
- Represent the brand through their corporate values.
n

You will have:

n

n
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and meet applicable ASIC Financial Adviser Standards, including completion of the Financial Adviser Exam and eligibility for registration on the Financial Adviser Register.
n
- Completion of, or eligibility to complete, the Professional Year where applicable.
n
- Approved Tax (Financial) Adviser education where providing tax (financial) advice services.
n
- RG146 compliance across Managed Investments, Securities, Superannuation and Insurance, at minimum.
n
- Advanced Xplan knowledge and experience.
n
- Strong technical, analytical, mathematical and written communication skills.
n
- Demonstrated experience preparing high-quality financial advice documentation.
n
- A strong understanding of financial planning strategies, legislation and compliance.
n
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
n
- A collaborative, client-focused approach and the initiative to work independently.
