Long-Term Locum FACEM / Emergency Medicine Consultant - Tamworth Hospital

Tamworth Hospital is seeking a Locum FACEM / Emergency Medicine Consultant to support Emergency Department coverage across a long-term locum block.

n

This role is suited to an experienced Emergency Medicine Consultant who is confident working in a busy regional ED, supporting patient flow, clinical decision-making, supervision and escalation of care where required.

n

The placement offers opportunities across September to November, making it a strong option for doctors seeking consistent regional locum work.

Key Duties:

n

- Provide Emergency Medicine consultant cover
n
- Support patient assessment, treatment planning and flow
n
- Provide clinical leadership and escalation support
n
- Supervise and support junior medical staff where required
n
- Complete documentation, handover and clinical decision-making
n

Eligibility Criteria:

n

n
- Current AHPRA Specialist Registration
n
- Recent Emergency Medicine consultant-level experience
n
- FACEM or equivalent specialist experience preferred
n
- Strong clinical leadership, communication and decision-making skills
n
- Current CV, references and compliance documents as required
n
