The Deck Seafood Restaurant, overlooking the Mooloolah River in Mooloolaba, is a casual dining seafood destination with a growing reputation for serving the freshest seafood straight from local boats. As part of Mooloolah River Fisheries, our team gets a front-row seat to the seafood industry while delivering unforgettable meals to locals and visitors alike.

We're looking for passionate Cooks and Chefs at all levels-full-time, part time, or casual-to join our team!

What You?ll Do

n

n
- Prepare, cook, and plate high-quality seafood and short-order meals
n
- Maintain stocks, order supplies, and manage kitchen organization
n
- Clean and sanitize food prep areas, utensils, and equipment
n
- Work under pressure while delivering consistent, excellent food service
n

Who You Are

n

n




- Experienced in cooking/short-order/fry cooking (1-2 years in hotel/club industry preferred, but not essential)
n
- Keen to complete an apprenticeship? We welcome you!
n
- Seafood experience is a bonus
n
- RSA is advantageous
n
- Skilled in deep frying
n
- Available on weekends, public holidays, and evenings
n
- Knowledge of food safety standards
n
- Reliable, punctual, well-presented, and able to work independently
