In this role, you will support children and young people to achieve their educational goals, participate fully in school life and overcome barriers to learning and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

- Design and implement individualised programs in collaboration with teachers, parents/carers and relevant professionals, ensuring they are developmentally appropriate and responsive to each student's age, strengths and needs.

- Conduct assessment of students in areas such as, communication, alternative and augmentative communication, speech, language, and social/behavioural needs. (Speech Pathologist).
n
- Provide information about special access equipment and physical barriers withing the school workplace as required by staff, parents / carers. (Occupational Therapist).
n
- Conduct assessment of students in areas such as regulation, fine motor, self care, social interactions. (Occupational Therapist).

What you need

- Qualifications & Accreditations.
n
- A graduate or post-graduate qualification in occupational therapy or equivalent.
n
- Registration as a occupational therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
n
