Key responsibilities

n

Assisting Conductors, Therapists, Teachers and students with participation in Conductive Education program delivery

n

Communicating effectively and displaying high level of interpersonal skills to function as an effective team member

n

Displaying respect and empathy for participants with high level support needs

n

Displaying confidentiality, tact, reliability and sensitivity to students and their families

n

Assisting in the supervision of Conductive Education activities, under the direction of a Leader

n

Assisting in preparing, storing, making available and clearing away equipment and materials required for participation in the Conductive program

n

Contributing to the welfare,



health and safety of participants including the delivery of first aid, when/if required and suitably trained

n

Assisting participants with lifting, positioning, assisting with meals, toileting and dressing

n

Working with small groups as well as individual participants

n

Assisting to maintain a clean, organised setting to benefit all staff and participants

n

About you

n

Working with Children: Blue Card Check and NDIS Worker Screening

n

Must hold a blue card or an exemption card to comply with the Education and Care Services National Law (Queensland) Act 2011
