Appoint Recruit is seeking an experienced licensed electrician to coordinate training and competency activities across a major Queensland Government road infrastructure workforce.

This role could suit an Electrical Trainer or Assessor, Electrical Supervisor, Leading Hand or experienced electrician who has trained apprentices, delivered workplace training or managed competency requirements.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

- Coordinating electrical training and competency activities
n
- Maintaining training plans, records, learning resources and assessment evidence
n
- Supporting practical training and coaching apprentices and electrical personnel
n
- Contributing to electrical safety, quality and workforce development initiatives
n

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

n

n
- Current Queensland open electrical work licence in the Electrical Mechanic class
n
- Experience in electrical training, competency development, apprentice development or technical leadership
n
- Ability to work onsite from the Nerang depot
n

n

A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirable but not essential.

n

Experience across traffic signals, road lighting, ITS, civil electrical infrastructure, utilities, rail, mining or industrial environments would be well regarded.
