Interquip is currently seeking a Senior Process Engineerto join our growing team here in West Perth.

n

We will provide the opportunity to be involved in the engineering design through to commissioning phase of various studies and projects. Providing guidance and support to project teams.

n

Responsibilities include:

n

Assist in all phases of the project life-cycle, from concept studies through to detailed design for metals projects.

n

Design and/or optimize flowsheets for greenfield or brownfield metallurgical processing plant projects.

n

Conduct trade-off studies to select optimized project solutions.

n

Prepare design calculations and mass balance models in simulation software.

n

Provide process design requirements to other discipline engineers and designers

n

Supports the Project / Study team to ensure that they deliver the project / study in accordance with cost, time, quality, safety targets and objectives

n

Prepare process equipment data sheets, including technical details and duties as required

n

Work with project teams to prepare capital and operating cost estimates

n





Work with clients to understand the needs of their project and business

n

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

n

Recognised qualifications in Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited college or university.

n

More than seven (7) years process experience in either an engineering contracting environment or consultancy organisation in the metallurgical industry. Operations experience will be highly regarded.

n

Site based commissioning experience will be highly regarded.

n

Sound written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills.

n

Effective organisation and planning skills.

n

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and challenging environment.

n

Experience working in multi-discipline environment and a clear understanding of roles of interfacing disciplines.

n

The ability to coach and develop less experience engineers and graduate development.

n

Adaptable, adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity
