Job Description

An established and growing Australian business is looking for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join its finance team in a newly created role.

Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll combine robust financial analysis with commercial insight to identify growth opportunities, improve profitability and support better decision-making. This is an opportunity to own your remit, work closely with senior stakeholders and make a visible commercial impact.

What you'll be doing:

- Build commercial models across price, volume, mix, margin and scenario analysis
n
- Partner with commercial and sales teams to identify and quantify profitable growth opportunities
n
- Analyse product, customer, inventory and market profitability to support commercial decisions
n
- Drive forecasting, budgeting and reforecasting, while supporting month-end reporting
n
- Develop dashboards and insights using Excel, Power BI and AI tools to turn complex data into clear actions

What we're looking for:

n

n
- Experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A;, Commercial Analysis or a similar finance role
n




- Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel capability
n
- Power BI experience and a genuine interest in using technology and AI
n
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to tell the story behind the numbers
n
- Confident communicator who can partner effectively with finance, sales and operational stakeholders
n
- CA/CPA qualified or working towards – highly regarded
n
- Experience within meat/protein, agriculture, FMCG, manufacturing or an inventory-heavy environment would be highly advantageous.

$120,000–$140,000 + Super + discretionary annual bonus

n

3 days office / 2 days WFH once established
