About the role

n

n
- Process fortnightly payroll through Dayforce
n
- Assist in the formulation, implementation and maintenance of payroll strategies, systems and processes
n
- Investigating and resolving pay discrepancies, maintaining confidentiality and discretion
n
- Provide timely advice to staff and management on performance/payroll related
n




- Assist in creating related material for induction and development programs in stores and support group
n
- Generating periodic reporting to meet business requirements – fortnightly, monthly and annually
n
- Analysis of data, reconciliations, and system health checks
n
- Database maintenance, including regular data integrity checking
n
- Liaising with third parties regarding team member details on an ad hoc basis
n

About You

n

n
- You must have 2+ years of experience in a similar role for a medium to large organisation
n
- Must have prior experience or positive understanding of General Retail Industry Awards
n
- Prior experience with end of month reconciliations and high-volume payroll processing (800 to 1000 employees)
n
- Experience with Dayforce is desirable
n
- Experience in New Zealand payroll processing is highly regarded
n
- Intermediate to advanced skills with Word, Excel and data entry
n
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
n
- Proven ability to initiate change and improvement to processes and systems
n
- Strong skills in documentation of processes
n
- Ability to work in a large team environment and strive to achieve desired results and deadlines
