HR Driver / Multi-System Operator – Morningside

We are currently seeking experienced HR Drivers / Multi-System Operators (MSOs) to join a busy waste and resource recovery operation based in Morningside .

There are multiple positions available , with the opportunity to secure ongoing work through to at least February 2027 , with the potential for further extension.

What's on Offer

- $40.83 per hour – Waste Award Grade 6
- Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm
- Occasional Saturday work, generally 7:00am – 11:00am
- Contract through to at least February 2027
- Potential for extension
- Morningside location
- Multiple vacancies available

About the Role

You will operate a range of collection and transport vehicles, including:

- Hook Lift trucks
- Rear Lift vehicles
- Pantech vehicles

The role will suit an experienced HR driver who enjoys a wide-ranging,



hands‑on driving position and takes pride in operating and maintaining vehicles to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with training, instructions and operating procedures
- Complete daily pre‑start, maintenance and safety checks
- Ensure vehicles are kept clean and presented to a high standard, inside and out
- Safely load, transport and unload materials as required
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
- Report vehicle or equipment issues promptly
- Work efficiently while maintaining a strong focus on safety and service

About You

To be successful, you'll have:

- Current unrestricted HR licence (or equivalent Class 4 NZ licence)
- Previous experience operating heavy vehicles
- Hook Lift experience highly desirable
- Waste industry experience advantageous
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent safety awareness
- Good work ethic and reliable attendance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Pride in vehicle presentation and maintenance

Pre-Employment Requirements

Successful candidates will be required to complete:

- Driver History Report
- Workplace health and safety requirements prior to commencement
