Our business Aquamech Services in Dutton Park, Brisbane has an exciting employment opportunity available for a Mechanic. We specialise in repairing and rebuilding a wide range of pumps, chlorinators, robotic pool cleaners and more.

n

Full training and ongoing development training will be given to the chosen candidate.

n

This position is suited to a motivated hardworking mechanic or trade assistant with a *minimum of 2 years* mechanical trade experience. Electrical experience would also be an advantage but not essential.

n

You must be competent in using hand and power tools e.g. drill, grinder etc.

n

You will also need to be able to work on your own as well as part of our team in a high paced environment.

n





This position will suit an overseas electrician on a 457 or student visa looking for sponsorship.

n

Please note that we don't expect you to have experience in the 'Pool Industry'. **We will train you.**

n

Once you have been trained your job role will be as follows:

n

n
- Conducting electrical and mechanical diagnosis tests on pumps, robotic cleaners and other related pool equipment
n
- Breaking down pool and tank pumps, robotic cleaners and other related pool equipment and quoting for repairs
n
- Rebuilding pumps with new and reconditioned parts
n
- Descaling and repainting motors
n
- Electrical test and tag
n
- Assisting to remove and install existing and recent pool equipment on site as required for both domestic and commercial customers.

- Customer Service
n
- General workshop cleaning duties
