We are looking for a talented Construction Estimator to help the most important people in our business - our customers!

n

You will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:

n

n
- Prepare and estimate budget costs for construction by studying plans and specifications
n
- Creating Bill of Quantities - identify and itemise building materials for costing
n
- Performing risk assessments to account for potential deviations from the project plan
n
- Write up and presents budgets, reports, and project plans
n
- Navigate and understand building codes
n
- Support the Design team throughout the Pre-Construction process including sourcing quotations (eg. non-standard items), engineering plans etc
n
- Liaise with our Contractors, Suppliers, Consultants and Private Certifiers and maintain a excellent working relationship with them
n
- Offering expert advice in regards to site details, client requirements and compliancy issues
n




- Prepare essential documents required by all related parties throughout the construction process including customer, Project Managers and trades / suppliers' documentation
n

The skills we are looking for:

n

n
- Being up to date with safety codes and improvements in construction
n
- Negotiating with service providers to secure better prices
n
- Ability to analyse labour, material, and time requirements for a project
n
- Upholding exceptional customer service to all clients
n

n

We are seeking someone who:

n

n
- Has a minimum 3 years' experience in construction Estimating. Contract Administration experience also desirable
n
- Has the ability to understand and interpret architectural plans for estimating function
n
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Is self-motivated and results-focused
n
- Is highly organised, can work in a team and an excellent multi-tasker
n
