Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on AM Supervisor to join our busy transport and logistics operation.

n

This role is responsible for overseeing morning operations, coordinating daily activities and ensuring freight is processed, dispatched and delivered efficiently, safely and on time.

n

Working closely with drivers, staff and management, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of daily operations while maintaining high standards of safety, service and operational efficiency.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

- Supervise and coordinate daily morning transport and logistics operations.
n
- Oversee the loading, unloading, sorting and dispatch of freight.
n
- Ensure deliveries and collections are completed within scheduled timeframes.
n
- Allocate work, coordinate driver movements and manage operational priorities.
n
- Monitor staff performance, productivity and adherence to company procedures.
n
- Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), WHS and relevant transport regulations.
n
- Identify and resolve operational issues, delays and service disruptions.
n
- Maintain accurate operational records,



reports and delivery documentation.
n
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, internal teams and management.
n
- Promote a positive workplace culture focused on teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience within the transport, logistics or freight industry.
n
- Strong knowledge of transport operations, freight handling and dispatch processes.
n
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
n
- The ability to lead, motivate and support a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
n
- A proactive approach to safety, compliance and operational efficiency.

- The ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions.
