Lifestyle Kitchens NQ is looking for the right person to join our team!
We are seeking a friendly, reliable and motivated Receptionist to become part of our locally owned and operated business.
This is a excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys dealing with customers, being organised, keeping busy and working as part of a close-knit team. You will be an important part of the day-to-day running of our showroom and will work closely with our Kitchens Manager and Administration team.
We are looking for someone who is genuinely interested in working, takes pride in what they do and is looking for a long-term position. We value reliability, initiative, a positive attitude and someone who is willing to learn and grow with the business.
About the Role
You will be the first point of contact for our customers and visitors and will play an important role in keeping our showroom and office running smoothly.
Your duties will include:
- Being the first point of contact for customers and visitors
- Answering phones and responding to customer enquiries
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Client liaison and assisting with general enquiries
- Scheduling appointments and coordinating workflow
- Assisting with kitchen and cabinetry enquiries
- Maintaining our job and workflow management system
- Assisting clients with colour selections
- General showroom and office duties
- Social media and multimedia posting
- Learning about our cabinetry, kitchen and construction products
What We Are Looking For
- Previous MYOB experience – highly regarded
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good computer skills and confidence using Microsoft Office
- The ability to learn new computer and job management systems
- A friendly and professional telephone manner
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- The ability to work independently while also being part of the team
- Initiative and a proactive approach to your work
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Honesty, reliability and a positive attitude
