Job Description

Our client, a leading player in the Sydney futures market is seeking a candidate available on short notice to join a small team supporting market operations on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This role will give you a great exposure to all facets of the trade cycle with exposure across many areas of the company.

n

The key responsibilities of this role include:

n

- Daily reconciliation of SFE and internal breaks
n
- Dealing with Give Up Trades and clear ASX Futures
n
- Confirming all trades are booked and settled correctly
n
- Being the single point of contact for front office and external counterparties for any settlement issues.
n

To be considered for the role you will:

n

n
- Have 2-5 years experience across Futures from either a broking or Investment Banking background.
n
- Have solid problem solving skills.
n
- Be self motivated and be able to work well with others.
n
- Work to tight deadlines.
